Supporting Royton Business:
Anyone in Royton wont have failed to notice the amount of 'For Sale' and 'To Let' signs that seem to be cropping up everywhere, Its a sorry sight to see the town of Royton looking like this. Due to the economic downturn, small businesses are finding it tough at the moment and is a struggle for anyone trying to run a business to stay afloat.

If your a local business who has any special offers, events or anything you feel you can offer the local people of Royton i will be more than happy to pop a short message on Royton Online homepage along with your contact details. This will be totally free but will be for a limited time only. If your a plumber who has started out or your shop has a special offer i will gladly advertise this on here.

Thornbury School, Royton:

This was a private School on Rochdale Road Royton run by the Watson Sisters, Are there any people out there who attended around 1965-1967? If so please can you get in touch a young lady has e-mailed me and would like to trace people who may have attended this school around this time. Thank you.

Royton Health Centre:

The Old Royton Health Centre has been sold for approx 200k and is to be demolished. I'm hearing that Napier Windows have bought the building, but i am uncertain at this stage what there plans are. I will update you as soon as i hear anything.
